DAVID POOLE

The OMG was very sad to hear about the sudden death of one of its founding members early in August after a short illness.

David was accredited as a mediator in 1999 and worked as an independent mediator since May 2002. He was closely involved in the establishment of the OMG in 2005 and was a member of the steering committee of the OMG from its inception. He was a well-regarded mediator who conducted training and mediations for the OMG.

David often described himself as ‘an advocate for mediation for the person in the street'. His enthusiasm for mediation was infectious as was his humour and good spirits. David will be remembered as a friend and colleague who gave generously of his time, energy and ideas, and he will be very much missed.
